What counts as a brief update?
Each time DeerDawn updates your brief from a session (capturing what changed, what you decided, and your current task), that’s one update. No plan has a daily cap.
What’s the difference between Free and Pro?
Free is everything within a project: unlimited projects, every surface, the full MCP, and 90 days of history. Pro is everything across projects: cross-project search, the shared entities that appear in more than one of your projects, one decision timeline over everything, full history that never ages out, and share links. Neither plan caps daily updates.
Is the free tier really unlimited projects?
Yes. The old three-project cap is gone. It sat exactly on top of the thing Pro is for — you can only feel the value of cross-project memory once you have several projects — so capping projects made the paid tier invisible. Free is bounded by history (90 days), not by how much work you do.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes: create a free account, add one MCP config to Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex (or connect Claude.ai/ChatGPT with no install), and your first brief is live. No card to start.
Is paying yearly cheaper?
Yes, by $48. Pro is $96 for the year instead of $12 a month, which works out at $8 a month — 33% less than twelve monthly charges. It is the same plan either way, and the 30-day guarantee on your first charge applies to both.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from billing in one click and you won’t be charged again. Checkout runs through Stripe; DeerDawn never sees your card details.
What happens to my briefs if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. You return to Free, which keeps unlimited projects and 90 days of history; anything older stays on your account and comes back the moment you upgrade. And you can export any brief at any time.
Do you support shared briefs across a team?
Team is $15 per seat per month: one shared workspace, briefs that carry who worked each thing out, per-project privacy (including work an owner cannot read), and an audit log that names people. See /teams for the detail. 2 seats minimum, because every feature it adds needs a second person to mean anything — and a new Team subscription starts with a 14-day free trial (card up front), because nothing cheaper lets you see those features first. If you already pay for Pro, upgrading moves that same subscription to Team and prorates the difference: there is no second subscription, and no trial on that path.
Is my conversation content stored in the cloud?
No. Only the structured brief is stored: project, current task, decisions, open questions. Raw conversation text is processed to build the brief and then discarded, never retained. Your brief is exportable anytime.
